About Alistair

Alistair started TTM Bot in 2021 after spending 9 years working in retail operations across East Anglia. He got tired of seeing smart people spend 3 hours every morning moving data from one spreadsheet to another. He built our first automation tool for a local warehouse that was struggling with 84 manual invoices a day. It worked, and he realized most small businesses don't need a tech overhaul—they just need a bit of code that handles the boring stuff.

He takes a very practical view of technology. If a bot takes longer to set up than the time it saves in a month, he won't build it. Alistair personally reviews the logic for every new client project we take on. He is usually the one who answers the phone when you call the Cambridge office. Honestly, he prefers talking about warehouse floor plans and stock counts over 'digital trends' any day of the week.

In the last 12 months, Alistair has helped 38 different UK firms move away from manual data entry. One specific project for a distribution hub in Ely cut their order processing time from 4 days down to 1.5 days. He doesn't promise miracles, just tools that do exactly what they say on the box. He's a big believer that tech should stay in the background and just work.

He lives just outside Cambridge and spends his Saturdays fixing up a 1988 Land Rover that is more rust than metal. (Heads-up: don't ask him about the Land Rover unless you have twenty minutes to spare). He treats bot building the same way he treats car repairs—find the friction, fix the part, and make sure it doesn't break again next week.

Alistair manages a small team of 4 people at our Innovation Way office. He makes sure we stay focused on back-office tasks and retail automation rather than chasing every new shiny thing in the tech world. If you need a straight answer on whether a bot can actually save you money, he is the person to ask. He'll give you a written estimate within 24 hours of your first chat.
